Our Beginnings

Love Protects, is a ministry dedicated to reaching the next generation for Christ.  Simply put- the goal of Love Protects is helping the next generation return to God's design for sex, love and life. This ministry focuses on all things related to biblical sexuality, love and identity issues and was birthed by Jannique Stewart, an international speaker, and life coach.  Love Protects was founded in 2011 by Jannique who brings a wide but relevant array of expertise and experience including eight years as a Sex Educator and nearly 2 years as the Center Director for a Pregnancy Center in Boca Raton, Florida.

 

Jannique is a former Miss St. Louis USA whose platform was pro-life and sexual purity. During her reign, she traveled across Missouri and the United States reaching over 24,000 that year alone.  In 2008, Jannique was the South Florida spokesperson for the 'Yes on Amendment 2' campaign that was lead by John Stemberger of the Florida Family Policy Council. In 2009, Jannique became an active Board Member with Faith 2 Action, a conservative Christian group that speaks up on behalf of life, marriage, and religious liberty. Faith 2 Action is very instrumental in helping pass legislation to help protect the Unborn, such as the Heartbeat Bill.. In 2011, Jannique worked in the field of conservative and journalism and was one of the original founding members of PolitiChicks which addresses a variety of conservative issues impacting our nation. In 2012, Jannique left PolitiChicks to devote her time to full-time ministry.  Jannique is also an Advisory Board Member with Faith Ascent, an apologetics ministry based in St Louis. Jannique is a full-time speaker with the Life Training Institute and travels nationally as a pro-life apologist. Since then, Jannique speaks each year in America to over 25,000  youth (plus 2,000 in Colombia, South America), Women, Singles and adults about God's design for biblical sexuality covering a variety of topics:

  • Why trust the Bible? Why is Christianity the Way? How to defend your faith

  • Sexual purity/integrity and healthy, godly relationships 

  • Defending the Preborn and addressing common abortion arguments

  • Defending 'Traditional' Marriage vs. 'Gay' Marriage (sexual identity issues)

  • Conference Speaker for Women, Singles, and Youth

 

Her heart is to see young people secure in their identity with Christ and living out their biblical values with confidence as leaders of their generation, unashamed of what they believe and able to defend and articulate what they believe.

WHAT LOVE PROTECTS BELIEVES

 

 

  • We believe that all people are of infinite value, regardless of age, development, appearance or ability.

 

  • We believe in preserving the Sanctity of Human life as human beings are created in the image of God, and our value comes from God alone and not man.

 

  • We believe that marriage is the foundation of family life, and that God’s design for marriage is a relationship where both husband and wife are committed to loving and caring for one another for a lifetime.

 

  • Although we believe in and promote biblical heterosexual sexuality in marriage we do not believe that anyone should be bullied because of their sexual choices. We also believe that speaking the  truth lovingly  about what the Bible says about sexual sin is not hate speech or condemnation.

  • We believe children are a gift from God, and thrive best in a home where both mother and father are committed to raising them with love, intention, and care.

 

  • We believe sex is given by God as an expression of love to be shared and enjoyed exclusively between a husband and wife.

 

  • We believe that only Jesus Christ is Messiah and has come to offer eternal life to all who will place their faith in and on Him.

 

  • We believe salvation through Christ is a gift, freely given, that cannot be earned by our actions.

 

  • We believe that the Bible is the source of relevant truth and is necessary to teach us God’s standards for life, relationships and marriage.

 

  • We believe that Christians have a responsibility to promote truth and affect social and public policythat improves the strength and health of the family, as God designed.
